normally I would never set out to smoke two at the same time but after I realized the conditions may have been just right to fire up the Oliva again, I figured what the hell, two good smokes is better than one right? plus I was curious and never did that before. but in retrospect, the strength of the Oliva overpowered the Hemmingway and ruined it's taste, and I should have seen that coming. live and learn I guess.

If that's right, how and the hell do you figure the conditions "may have been just right"???

I think you must have inhaled too much smoke at the last fire you fought there buddy. Conditions are NEVER right to relight a cigar after it has sat outside over night after being half smoked. That's just fuckin nasty. Smiley

I would've called someone else fucked if they did it before me. It was only an experiment and surprisingly turned out pretty good.

I personally don't care for the Oliva V series. It is a good cigar don't get me wrong. But the flavor isn't very complex and is too spicy. I smoked the Robusto and liked some aspects of the smoke: construction, burn. But I was expecting more on the complexity and subtlety of flavor.
Yeah, you can say this cigar has a lot of flavor. But its the kind of flavor that hits you in the mouth without bringing anything special.
