I just cooked up 14 jars of homemade salsa.  This stuff will make it so you can never eat grocery store salsa again.  They all taste like ketchup after you eat this stuff.

That's what I was planning on making but the wife suggested we eat leftovers from last night (deep dish pizza) instead and, as I wasn't charged about cooking tonight, that was just fine by me.
I was planning on mushrooms and heavy cream for the desired effect.

Sliced a flank steak into strips and seared it with some caramelized onions then hit it with a few shakes of Worcestershire sauce. Had some mashed potatoes and crusty bread along with a salad of Romaine, cucumber and apple with blue cheese dressing. All in all a nice dinner.

Stuffed a chicken with celery and carrots and roasted it with herbes de Provence, diced some potatoes and sweet potatoes and chucked 'em in under the bird, gravy, brown and serve rolls, oh but it was delicious  Wink I'm thinking the potatoes will go damn well with scrambled eggs in the a.m.

Last night I made a garlic-butter sauce, shredded some of the leftover chicken, tossed it all together with linguine, pecorino romano, crushed red pepper and whole wheat bread crumbs.

Chorizo,  cubed potato and shredded chicken with flour tortillas and the most delicious avocado I've ever had. Didn't think to take a picture until it was a bit too late, but it sure was tasty   Wink
